Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson is a Mexican musician who was born into a family of musicians. When she was a kid, she listened to many traditional music as well as traditional boleros. She also listened to the traditional romance ballads as well as ranchero. Ana enjoys tangos and opera and dramatic performances. Ana started learning how to sing and play music in the early years alongside her mother. She was given more formal vocal training when she was 16 years old under the famous Mexican Tenor Flavio BECARRA. In Guadalajara, she attended the School of Music of University of Guadalajara and then in Toluca at the School of Sacred Music. The singer performed in Guadalajara, Mexico City and various cities while a scholar and professional. After moving from Mexico to the United States around 2000, she sang for the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. The singer currently sings the traditional Latin American songs at private events as a soloist. Her passion for the performing arts, music, and the arts keep her engaged in local projects in both her capacity as an artist and teacher. Ana is also a previous participant in the Community Chorus of Redlands, the Inland Master Chorale, and the Performance Loft. Ana is thankful for having the chance to share her passion and passion of old-fashioned Latin American songs with others and, in the process hopes to instill a sense of, especially among younger generations to keep this music vibrant and alive.Viva Mexico!
