Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. His international success has seen him break into mainstream Latin music. The 2016 smash Una Lady Como Tu was the winner of the Colombian Kids Choice Award for Best Song in the year 2017. The singer released his first long-player ADN with the Sony-owned company based in Medellin, La Industria Inc. It peaked at 8 places on the Top Latin Albums charts. Vaina Loca was an instant Top Five hit for Ozuna and Ozuna the year after. He also collaborated alongside Noriel on Mala Influencia in the year 2020, and the following year dropped his sophomore album chart-topping Dopamina. In 2021, he appeared as a duo with TINI on her streaming hit track Maldita Foto. in 2023 the single the hit song La Bachata was released. Turizo came from a household of music both his parents have been musicians. He's said in interviews that music was a necessity. He learned how to play the guitar, saxophone the ukulele, and keyboard when he was the age of a small child.
